AlbumJar (albumjar.com) lets an event host create a private shared album where guests upload photos, videos, and notes. The service is currently in beta and free; features and limits may change as it grows.
Hosts and guests keep all rights to what they upload. You give us only the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content to the people the host shares the album with. We never sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
The host controls who receives the album link and code, and can remove any content. Hosts must have the right to collect photos from their event, and guests must have the right to share what they upload.
We may remove content or close albums that violate these rules.
If content in an album infringes your copyright, email hello@albumjar.com with the album link, the material at issue, and proof of ownership. We respond promptly to valid notices under the DMCA.
Albums close on the date the host sets. About 30 days later, the album is archived and its media is permanently deleted from our servers. Hosts can export everything, anytime, before then.
AlbumJar is provided “as is,” without warranties. Keep your own copies of irreplaceable memories — the export button exists for a reason. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $50 if you paid nothing).
